Voting Question: public storage on fire can we sue?

hi guys we had a public storage in our local area in N.Y a majority of the storage caught fire. and everything was burnt badly. cause wasn't determined. if u search public storage fire spring valley ny u could see it was on the news and pictures are also there.. insurance is only covering up to 2,000 although we had merchandise worth way more we also have proof can we file a law suit against public storage? i know you need a lawyer but we don't want to waste time if we don't have a case...
